With DIALECTA, our goal was to deliver education with a new language in a useful yet fundamental way. While learning can be challenging, the strive was to keep the engagement interactive was our main focus. It was imperative to base our strategy of learning on innovation but also keeping it entertaining. With the growth in modern technology learning a new language has taken on perspective with Dialecta!
Overview
As a Chicago Illinois company founded in 2002, Dialecta strives to provide the best education possible to everyone across the world by offering over 12 languages in over 145 countries. Regardless of location, our global team makes language learning fun and convenient for everyone.
The Challenge
Provide and colorful app to engage users to learn new languages in an exciting way. While on the go on stationary the strive for user-friendly approach was paramount.
The Process
provide a simple, effective, and convenient way to get educated in a new language on a familiar platform conducive for all ages.
The Solution
Performing interviews, sketching, prototyping, and wire-framing on paper and digitally, conducting usability studies, making sure accessibility is taken into consideration, iterating over designs, determining information architecture, and responsive design.

The Results
After interviewing and completing questionnaires with users, it was discovered that language barriers are a common problem with understanding and building relationships with others. As a result, they can cause conflict, frustration, and misunderstandings. Dialecta helps to set the goal to make learning languanges easy. A much need platform to understand people from all walks of life and backgrouunds.
