Project Overview

With CATS YOU LATER food shopping, our focus was to create a shopping experience that was exclusively for cats and cat lovers. It was imperative to give our furry felines the attention they deserve. Offering over 300 different types of cat food for our app and website allow pet owners to order meals digitally and have them delivered to their residence. Our goal is not only to provide your cat with high quality cat food, but to also ensure great customer CATisfaction!

 

The Challenge

In contrast to a normal shopping experience, the challenge was finding healthy cat-specific pet food in the grocery stores.

 

The Process

First, we had to understand exactly what the needs of the pet user was. By conducting user tests usability studies, and insights we concluded that some of the users' main concerns was not being able to find healthy cat food in physical store but also not being able finding them at a reasonable price.

The Solution

Based on participants' feedback, it was determined that they would be satisfied if they could buy food items online and have them delivered to their homes. With a simple navigation system, participants can easily select food items to add to their cart when browsing the website. Additionally, participants can create a profile so that they can reorder previously purchased items conveniently.

 

The Results

As a pier-graded assignment it concluded that a case study provided reference to the entire product. Delivering a high-fidelity prototype with a cohesive transactional response.

My Role

My participation as a UX designer was to craft an experience for the user from start to finish. the site includes a home landing page, Product list page, Profile creation page, payment page, and check out page. As result I've crafted an functional site online site. The primary objective was to create a site that suits customer needs and expectations.
